Select Home Warranty offers 3 distinct plans.
One for appliances, one for systems and one for both.
The Bronze (appliance) and Gold (system) plans cost the exact same affordable yearly price of $379.
If you want to get everything covered then you can simply buy the Platinum Plan which includes the best of both worlds. When doing the math, the combined plan is more bang for your buck as it only costs you $70 more ($449/year).
If you not be satisfied, you can cancel your contract during the first 30 days for a full refund. Once those 30 days are over, you can still cancel and only be charged a small cancelation fee of $75. This is a very welcome policy as most of the other Home Warranty companies do not allow this flexibility.

It’s also important to point out that contracts with Select Home Warranty last 12 months and have an automatic extension of another 12 months once the first period has passed.
What are the coverage limits?
Several home warranty contracts will stipulate a coverage limit or cap, which is the most the company will pay out per item or per contract term. If the cost of a repair or replacement exceeds the set limit, the customer is responsible for paying the difference to get the item fixed.
With Select Home Warranty’s plans, the customer is required to provide yearly maintenance for the covered items and the company may request three years prior maintenance records.
